Tamara Lynn Witmer (born March 21, 1984) is an American model. She is best
known for her appearance as Playboy's Playmate of the Month – Miss
August 2005.

Witmer was born in Valencia, California and her family relocated to
Dublin, Ohio, where she spent her childhood. She attended Dublin Coffman
and Dublin Scioto High School. She moved to Los Angeles after graduating
high school to begin her modeling career. Prior to becoming a Playmate,
She has appeared on magazine covers (such as Fit Body and Physical),
advertizing campaigns, calendars, lingerie and swimwear catalogs. She
also appeared in Lingerie Bowl 2005 in February 2005 during half-time
of Super Bowl XXXIX, as a lingerie-wearing tackle football player of the Los Angeles Temptation team.

In February 2006, Tamara was featured as one of the models on the American version of the game show Deal or No Deal.
